Solving machining challenges with a unique cutter design for finishing applications

Special wiper inserts enable high feed and high-quality surface finish

Supports high-feed machining with a large arc-shaped wiper edge. Delivers sharp cutting with a low-resistance cutting edge design.
The lineup includes cermet inserts for Vc up to approx. 350 m/min, and molded TT chipbreakers that suppress chip clogging for high-feed machining.

Comes with a blade vibration adjustment mechanism that is easy to operate

The cutting edge height can be adjusted as needed. One-action tightening eliminates the need for final tightening, reducing tedious work.
(Since it is already adjusted, basically there is no need to adjust the cutting edge height. Adjustment is also not required when replacing the insert.)

Plate SS400

While machining at f = 4.3 mm/rev or higher was difficult with conventional tools due to poor surface roughness, the MFF maintained excellent surface roughness even at f = 5.0 mm/rev or higher, meeting the requirement of 0.8 μmRa or less. Cutting speed was also increased, achieving 1.7 times the efficiency.

While conventional tools caused a cloudy finish, the MFF achieved a glossy, excellent finished surface with 0.5 μmRa. This eliminates the need for a polishing process, reducing machining time by approximately 80%.
