Achieving superior cost-effectiveness by downsizing the insert.
Furthermore, a diverse lineup leveraging the mini insert is available, including fine pitch type and smaller diameter.
Supports high-demand applications with an ap (depth of cut) of 5 mm and under.

Low Cutting Force and fracture resistant insert geometry

Large rake angle of AR Max +11° provides low cutting force and suppresses chattering, achieving stable machining.
Excellent fracture resistance with a thick insert design that secures thickness at the highest-impact area of the cutting edge.

New PR18 series. Achieving significantly longer tool life

The newly developed proprietary coating MEGACOAT NANO EX achieves long tool life. "Double lamination technology" that laminates two types of special nano-layers in multiple layers further improves toughness, achieving both high levels of wear resistance and fracture resistance.

Recommended cutting conditions

The bold values in the cutting conditions indicate the center of the recommended cutting conditions. Adjust cutting speed and feed within the range according to the actual machining conditions.
Wet machining is recommended for Ni-based heat-resistant alloys and titanium alloys.
When using GH chipbreaker with an extra close pitch design cutter. → feed rate fz ≦ 0.2 (mm/t)
