Features

Black & Gold: Optimized coating properties on Rake face and Flank face

The "Black & Gold" coating optimizes the coating properties on Rake face and Flank face of the insert, achieving long tool life and stable machining. Rake face uses a special mesh processing technology to prevent film peeling and achieve excellent chipping resistance. Flank face has a high-hardness coating to reduce friction wear. The gold surface makes it easy to identify the used corners.

Thick film + Strong adhesion suppresses wear and film peeling, achieving stable machining

The CA410K/CA415K utilizes a newly developed coating and carbide substrate that pursues the performance required for cast iron machining. The thick, highly adhesive coating improves wear resistance and peeling resistance. carbide substrate has toughness, is resistant to crack propagation, and suppresses coating peeling.

Case Study

Gear FCD700

External turning of gear. The combination of CA410K and KQ breaker, which are suitable for continuous machining, achieves 1.8 times Tool life.

Differential case FCD450

While the competitor's product experienced film peeling, the CA415K maintained good Edge condition even after machining double the number of parts. Combined with the highly durable KH chipbreaker, it ensures stable machining even in interrupted machining.

Cylinder FCD600

Unstable Tool life during Interrupted cutting was an issue, but the CA415K (non-breaker) achieved stable machining. The cutting edge remained in good condition even after machining for a longer period than the set Tool life of competitors'.
