Features

Higher speed finishing improves productivity

Special cermet substrate x thick CVD coating provides excellent wear resistance. Supports finishing at higher speeds than conventional products.
Excellent performance in continuous to light interrupted finishing.

Pin S48C etc.

Achieves 2.4 times longer tool life than conventional PVD cermet. Stable tool life (Customer evaluation).

Cylinder S35C

Achieves high-speed machining at Vc = 270 m/min, achieving 1.6 times Machining efficiency of competitors' PVD cermet. Tool life has also been significantly improved (Customer evaluation).

Recommended cutting conditions

Wet machining is recommended. Dry machining is not recommended.
Applicable for general purpose of soft and alloy steel, low-speed to high-speed finishing (continuous to Light interrupted) of cast iron.
Not recommended for roughing with scale or Heavy interruption (depth of cut: ap ≦ 1 mm)
